Seedling Storage (Winter)

HCCS specializes in storing tree seedlings over the winter months, keeping them in a dormant state until they are transported to their planting destination. Our clients range from government entities to large forestry companies. As well as first nations groups and private woodlots.

In congruence of provincial reforestation and carbon-offset initiatives, we provide over 55,000 sq ft. of climate-controlled warehousing space across two locations and ten custom-designed rooms.

Specialized racking are stacked within our coolers to ensure optimal airflow. Using said racks and 6000 sq ft. of indoor dock space, we begin the thawing process prior to transporting them to planters.
